Habitat for Humanity “Blitz Build”

Congratulations to the Freda Dixon family!  Habitat for Humanity dedicated its 292nd home in Pinellas County today as part of its annual “Blitz Build” presented by HSN Cares and sponsored by Public Supermarkets Charities.  The home was built in 7 days and is part of the Stevens’ Creek community.  representatives from Valpac, Duke Energy, Anona United Methodist Church, Quorum Services, and the volunteers who helped build this year’s house joined me in presenting Ms. Dixon and her daughter many gifts.  Following the presentations, Portia Ponds of the Faith, Hope and Love Church of God blessed the house, and all applauded as Freda unlocked the door.

Here to Listen. Here to Work.
