The 291st home built by Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County was dedicated yesterday afternoon. Located in the Steven’s Creek subdivision of Clearwater, Olga Botero and her two children will now have a special place to call home. The home was sponsored by Jeff and Judy Mitchell, longtime supporters of Habitat for Humanity and other community programs, and they presented the keys to the home. Representing the City of Clearwater, I was asked to give an American flag to the family. Pastor Moses Secundino of Centro Cristiano El Shaddai gave the “Blessing of the Home,” another significant part of the dedication ceremony for all Habitat for Humanity houses.
