Thanks to USTA-Florida which contributed $2000 to the City of Clearwater. The funds are through the USTA’s “Share the Love” campaign to provide tennis instruction for children under 10 years of age. Linda Curtis, executive director of the USTA-Florida foundation presented the check to me this morning.
The City of Clearwater’s Public Works Department had an open house on Wednesday. I stopped by to say hello and thank our employees who monitor and maintain the city’s infrastructure, including sewer, stormwater, and water systems working properly. Staff allowed me to work on the directional bore machine–above ground so as not to cause any damage.
